Journée Universités

As part of the Francophonie Festival Ghana 2026, Journée Universités is a dedicated platform for higher education institutions to engage, collaborate, and explore new opportunities within the Francophone space.

Bringing together university students, faculty, and academic leaders, this event highlights the strategic role of French in research, academic mobility, regional cooperation, and global competitiveness. It serves as a meeting point for dialogue, exchange, and partnership-building among institutions committed to internationalisation.

This year, we gather under the theme:

« Positionner le Ghana dans l’espace francophone : langue, partenariats et opportunités »
(Repositioning Ghana in the Francophonie Space: Language, Partnerships and Opportunities).

As Ghana continues to strengthen its engagement within the Francophone world, the French language emerges as a key driver of academic collaboration, access to scholarships, joint research initiatives, student exchanges, and innovation networks.

As a full member of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), Ghana is strategically positioned to expand inter-university partnerships and create new pathways for students and researchers across the Francophone community.

Journée Universités celebrates higher education as a cornerstone of regional integration, knowledge exchange, and sustainable development—empowering the next generation of leaders to thrive in a multilingual and interconnected world. 🌍🎓
