There is Rice at Home - A Stage Play

On the eve of his best friend's funeral, a police officer comes face to face with a charming lady who introduces herself as Death. And like him, she has questions begging for answers. There Is Rice At Home is a riveting story of friendship, grief, and love.
In his theater debut, director Joewackle J. Kusi makes a funny, honest, and witty critique of grief and Ghanaian funeral culture. With breathtaking performances by Senanu Gbedawo, Adomaa, Godwin Namboh and Gina Castel, we are ushered into a fascinating experience of compelling storytelling, music and dance with original music by Adomaa. Written by Joewackle J. Kusi & Inyang Edoho.
