Shifters Premiere
SHIFTERS is a gripping documentary film that follows the lives of individuals and communities on the frontlines of climate change and environmental issues. Through audio-visual education, SHIFTERS seeks to transform statistics into stories, bringing to life the struggles and hopes of communities most affected but least heard.
"The Earth, Our Home" is also a set of animations targeted at children with the aim of educating and empowering children as environmental advocates.
These audio-visuals highlight urgent environmental issues like clean cooking, plastic waste, illegal mining (galamsey), deforestation, air pollution, and environmental degradation, showing both their dangers and the practical solutions. They are to inspire, educate, and empower audiences to take action against climate change and environmental issues.
Please join the premiering of these 2 films on Saturday, 7th February 2026 at Alliance Francaise, Accra.
The creation of the films were led by the Youth-NREG Green Creatives Petal of the Youth in Natural Resources & Environmental Governance (Youth-NREG) Platform.
