GHANA MASQUERADE: Kaleidoscope of a Nation
We are excited to announce the upcoming photography exhibition "GHANA MASQUERADE: Kaleidoscope of a Nation" by Anne-Laure Guéret.
This compelling body of work is inspired by Anne-Laure’s early experiences in Ghana, where the sight of children dancing at traffic lights every December in colorful costumes and masks sparked her curiosity. This curiosity led her on a journey into the heart of the "Fancy Dress" tradition, also known as the Kakamotobi or Ankos Festival.
Join us to explore how tradition meets innovation in this colorful celebration of life and culture.
We look forward to welcoming you to this vibrant journey through Ghana’s rich cultural heritage!
Venue: Alliance Française Accra
Date: Friday 29th November, 2024
