As part of the Francophonie Festival Ghana 2026 calendar of events, the Journée Enfants FLE celebrates young learners of French in a vibrant, engaging, and educational setting. This special gathering highlights the joy of learning French as a Foreign Language (FLE) while encouraging creativity, cultural discovery, and meaningful interaction.

This year, we come together under a bold and forward-looking theme:

“Positionner le Ghana dans l’espace francophone : langue, partenariats et opportunités”
(Repositioning Ghana in the Francophonie Space: Language, Partnerships and Opportunities).

As Ghana deepens its engagement within the Francophone world, this theme emphasizes the strategic importance of the French language as a bridge to regional integration, international cooperation, and sustainable development. More than a means of communication, language is a gateway—opening doors to education, diplomacy, trade, innovation, and cultural exchange across the global Francophonie.

As a full member of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), Ghana is uniquely positioned to strengthen partnerships, foster cross-border collaboration, and unlock new academic and professional opportunities for its citizens. From youth empowerment and academic mobility to creative industries and business networks, the Francophone space offers a dynamic platform for growth.
