International Amofest 2026

Founded by Ghanaian musician and cultural ambassador Berima Amo, Amofest is an annual celebration of authentic music and creative expression. This year’s edition introduces an exciting expansion into theatre, in collaboration with renowned playwright Uncle Ebo Whyte, culminating in a powerful original musical production—a Cantata—blending Ghanaian music and storytelling.

The festival opens with a Youth Music & Creative Arts Workshop at the Art Centre, Accra, empowering secondary school students through hands-on training in musicianship, songwriting, and performance. On May 2, audiences will enjoy a vibrant Main Concert Experience featuring an international lineup of artists, Marta Arpini from Italy, Pedro Kastelijns from Brazil, Rudy Ray from Canada, Lamisi, Reynolds the Gentleman and TM Musiq all from Ghana followed by

an after-party hosted by Urban Grove. Amofest also continues its commitment to cultural exchange, welcoming Dutch artists to Ghana while creating opportunities for Ghanaian talents abroad.
