As part of Alliance Française d'Accra's ongoing initiative to champion and support women
across a diverse range of professional fields, we—in partnership with the French Embassy in
Ghana and Institut Français Paris—are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of
women whose unwavering resilience in the face of often untold challenges within our local
communities has paved their way into the dynamic world of sports.
We invite you to join us at DUNK GRASSROOTS – Jamestown Community Centre, as we
come together to honour the significant accomplishments of these inspiring women in sports.

The event will include:
• A powerful photo exhibition, Punching Barriers, by George Koranteng Danso
• An engaging panel discussion featuring personalities from various sectors
