The year is 1944, World War II and there is death and carnage all around. Jafa, an African sergeant, finds himself in cave with Singh, an Indian corporal and Jake a British private.  As the battle rages on outside with the invincible forces of imperial Japan, these three men of differing backgrounds and ethnicities fight a psychological battle of their own as they work through issues of racial superiority, rank and social inequality. As an African fighting to the death for his colonial masters and oppressors the question Jafa asks himself is “Whose Queen and country am I shedding my blood for?” Remember to bring your popcorn along to enjoy this movie directed by Ato Yanney Snr.
