King Ayisoba, the widely acclaimed “King of Kologo Music” brings Batakari Night back to Alliance Française. King Ayisoba is currently one of the most popular Ghanaian artists on the World Music Circuit, and he feels Ghana has even more to offer. Batakari Night will feature some of Ghana’s leading Kologo players including Agongo and special guest appearances by Wanlov the Kubolor, Wiyaala, Tongo Zimba Kwaw Kese and Zea (from Holland), with whom King Ayisoba has worked extensively. Everyone is encouraged to wear Batakari. King Ayisoba promises Batakari Night to be an evening of great colour, variety and performances.

RIOHS Originate’s JOIE DE VIVRE is a 2-hour exciting event that brings together fashion, poetry and live music blending colours and cadence to celebrate the evolution of style. Uniquely cut and stitched patterns stylized into leading-edge costumes by RIOHS Originate’s 4 months fashion design students will be catwalked by the Students themselves; the idea is to explore how the creatives “embody” their own art in full spirits of charisma to connect with the audience. The show is directed by Richard Ohene Sika.
